i dk if this has been used, but:

Chaingunman.
green robot with an army helmet and instead of his right hand he has a doom-style chaingun.

yes, i know, this shows a lack of imagination, and i was gonna do a scorpionman, but that idea is taken. I'm a terrible artist, and i made him in like, 5 seconds, so i don't have a pic.

Doom's chaingun isn't really a chaingun. It's a minigun.

I'm making a game, but I'm terrible at coding. My masters (which suck...):
Rifle Man
Static Man
Mirage Man
Sketch Woman
Wake Man
Specter Man
Warp Man
and Multi Man.
Terrible, amirite?

I beg to differ. have you seen the heavy weapon dude's chaingun? that thing is HUGE, no "mini" about it.

They actually sound pretty good. except Wake Man. what is he an alarm clock? lemme know when the game's done, i'll be the first to beat it ;)

i also have a slightly better RM than chaingunman:

Centurion Man

He looks like a robotic roman soldier and his weapon is the centurion sword, a close range slashing weapon.

It may not be mini as in small, but the name for it is a Minigun. Did you not see it in the equips screen on TF2?

Wikipedia if you don't believe me.

well, they call it a chaingun in the doom messages that pop up when you pick it up, not trying to start an argument.

And what the heck is TF2?

I remember the first time I learned about miniguns, I thought their name was supposed to be ironic. But then it turned out they really are just miniaturized versions of the guns they put on freakin fighter jets.

And how do you know who Heavy Weapons Guy is but not TF2?

First to beat it? Sounds like we will be having a speedrunning competition on his release day :)
In other words... Challenge accepted.

To clear it up, Heavy Weapons Dude is the minigunner zombie from Doom/Doom 2.

HOWEVER. id Software got it wrong. It should be called a minigun. A chaingun is a single barrel, belt fed, gun.

Bitches, please.  With enough free time, I can dominate a Mega Man game.  Beat Mega Man Rocks! in two days, and blazed through FIVE levels of MM4 yesterday.

Anyway, Multiman was seen in the "Dreamwave Comic"--whatever that is--and a couple of these seem to be generic concepts (Specter Man, Warp Man) .  Sketch Woman is an interesting concept, just from the name, though.

Time for my own again, I guess.

Name: Shield-Man

Appearance: Much like Star-Man, the shape of a shield is embedded on his front.  Made of solid metal for the most part, only with two small slits for visual receptors.

Personality: In a word, cold, like the metal surrounding him.  Much like Iceman's "Commander" state of mind, he only thinks about his mission--which is defending the base.

Stage: An old, abandoned bomb shelter, which he's been fixing up for awhile now.  Inside are some of the most well-protected, durable enemies in Mega Man history.

Stage Gimmick: Undecided (You're more than welcome to help me out here if you wish.)

Moveset: For his moveset to make sense, one must note something about the fighting area--it's divided up into three altitude tiers, separated by ladders.  What Shield-Man does is he simply runs back and forth along the arena at fluctuating speeds, changing which tier he's on each time.  He is invincible for the most part, except for one time during his moveset--he rips off his own chestplate and throws it at you (after three runs) .  Then, he runs--rather slowly--to pick it up while you do damage to him.  Then it loops.
(His weakness would technically be Query Barrage, but note that he can still pick up his chestplate, and hitting him directly with it does no more than a buster shot.)

Weapon (YOU GOT) : The Shield Lock.  If you've played Halo and know of the Armor Lock, it works kinda like that, with one notable change--it can be activated in midair to crush enemies beneath you.  Each activation costs 4 pieces of energy and can last as long as the player wants by holding down the fire button.  Release to resume your state of mobility and vulnerability.

My brother's fastest time for beating Mega Man 6 is under an hour and about 6 minutes off World Record time.  However, I fail to see what any of this has to do with fanmade robot masters.

I actually just wanted to quickly poke the guy and say i will play it as soon as he finishes it, With a fun tone in a way of challenging the other dude to a speedrun.

So My post had to do with the guy making a game featuring fanmade robot masters.

In other news...

I thought of Lazerman when i was a little boy. The moment i saw Lazerman in MMBN4 i lol'd at Capcom stealing my idea (without knowing it ;) )
And i made up a few more back then... Though i cant remember them now :p

They sound like the awesomest set of robot masters EVAR! when are you gonna be done with the game?

also i have a more original one (though his weapon is based on astro man's):

Meteor Man: a strange robot from another planet that dr. wily took control of.
weapon: Meteor Barrage: causes several meteors to fall from the air. very hard to dodge.
