Alright so a bit of clarification since we're starting today.

This mafia's mechanics work a little differently than a standard mafia but not by much. In a normal mafia, whoever gets voted out during the day is determined literally by whoever gets the most votes. This is not the case. In this game, your votes deal damage to other players, and whoever takes the most damage during the Day Phase is "voted out" from the game. This is just a technical term so bear with me here. Normally, a vote deals 2 damage, though some abilities can reduce damage to 1 point (or even zero!) or increase your damage to 3. Crazy stuff, really, but it's only a slight variation on the normal mafia formula. No Bravery mechanic or code names or held items or shit like that.

Now for the update part: I told a bunch of people we'd be starting today at noon EST. This is only half-right; due to some unforeseen circumstances (read: me sleeping in by two hours) I won't be able to send roles out right at noon because I'll be doing stuff. However, we will be starting today so prepare your bodies for the Reggienating.

Also I'd prefer if people who weren't playing kept their comments to a minimum, so everyone who is playing can keep their thoughts together. In the last mafia Balrog did a good job of keeping his mouth shut until the townies started failing epically, and then he started laughing at them and good times were had for everyone. However, in the LoL mafia Balrog posted so much we started to think he was a player and even tried voting for him. Fun stuff. Except not really.

That's pretty much it, roles will be sent in a few hours. I'll post here when it happens.

Also, dead players can no longer speak in the thread (remember Island Survival III and Colonel ServBot?).

Oh, I wouldn't do that. I'd gloat and act like an evil villain and die with a villain rant upon lynchlock. Maybe. But claiming without reason is boooooring~

Thanks for the clarification.

HEY
Trying to use strategy is not a crime.

And Tengu, I'd appreciate it if you and various of your friends would stop being a pain.

I dare you to try and vote me off on day 1. I fucking dare you.

That's not really strategy.

Or so, it's not a good strategy.
