I honestly hope Beck doesn't just grunt like that all the time. The animation looks quite nice though.

I want it to be written by Ruby Spears. This will make me a happy man.

I do wish for it to be good, I really don't want any other game series to suffer that which is Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures.

The lack of voice acting probably has a lot to do with the lack of a voice actor. Being (probably?) Japanese it's likely they don't have any VO's in other languages yet. That's my theory.

So, did anyone here get the beta?

If so, what's your impressions?

Omg, it's true, if you have put some money in the kickstarter, you can have the beta access. I have one! =D
I go test it and back to say what i think about it....but when i see the video, the game looks complete, i can imagine combo, dash, transformations with more attacks possibility!

EDIT: Mighty 9 is really fun, it uses a new style of gameplay and it's good! You dont have chargeshot but you can use a lot of shots, specially against the boss! You can spam it because there is not the boring "invincibility" after a hit ! But you must do a combo with the special attack sometimes.
I finished the stage of the ennemy who looks like cannon of a gun, but it's pretty hard, people will like it ! And it's well made, sometimes, the aquatic robot has come to help me...really COOL! : 3

Yeah, it's not a new megaman game, but it's a good thing ^^ VERY GOOD THING for us!

EDIT2: video of the gameplay by a guy on youtube!

Thanks to my -way cool bro-, I got a chance to play through the beta!

My strongest feeling after playing through was how different the game was from the Classic Mega Man series. There's plenty of similarities when it comes to things like character and level design, but just like Emmanuelf06 said, the overall play style is very different. There is a lot more emphasis on fast-paced movement with dashing and dodging, rather than stopping and shooting. In a way, I'd say it's closer to Mega Man X/Zero/ZX gameplay wise, while the world/setting is instead mirroring Classic Mega Man.

The boss battle was an interesting change of pace. like Emmanuelf06 mentioned, it's encouraged to strike the boss with rapid-fire since there's no immediate hit invincibility. However, after so much damage he'll turn purple and requires(?) you to dash into him, which feels cool and is fortunately a safe maneuver.

The factory and enemies and effects look pretty cool overall, but there's plenty of things to nitpick about graphically. The biggest issue to me, personally, is that things look a little dull and grey. I would like to see how things looked with some increased contrast between characters and the background plus some more vibrant colors.

Anyways, didn't expect to be playing this so soon! Very cool surprise!

That sounds pretty cool! I do agree on the graphics looking dull and grey though, something I didn't really like at all, since they began showing off levels.

So Beck is in Mighty Gunvolt for the 3DS, which is like an 8-bit NES-style adventure.

Hopefully, someone could make a skin based off of this Beck.

Gonna be entirely honest, I'm surprised no one has done that yet.

Someone's working on one.
Is the promotion for getting that game after getting Azure Striker Gunvolt still going on?

Actually, I was able to get Mighty Gunvolt for free just for backing the Kickstarter for Mighty No. 9.  I'm guessing this game exists for the purpose of promoting the characters.

Hey, in case you missed it, GamerGate discussion is being blocked on the Mighty Number Nine forums. Twitter users who support GamerGate are also getting blocked by @MightyNo9 by Dina. I'll give you three guesses who Dina's been very, very friendly to on Twitter recently.
