Hey, in case you missed it, GamerGate discussion is being blocked on the Mighty Number Nine forums. Twitter users who support GamerGate are also getting blocked by @MightyNo9 by Dina. I'll give you three guesses who Dina's been very, very friendly to on Twitter recently.

We REALLY don't need drama like that here. the "#FiveGuysBurgersAndLies" thread was closed for a reason.

>Why should I care that people I disagree with aren't allowed to follow video games they may have spent hundreds of dollars on because they don't like the fact that one of the employee's friends is a morally bankrupt harpy who is part of a bona fide, proven conspiracy to destroy video games? I mean, it's not like I'll get blocked, right?

The reason that the thread was closed because everyone went "this is triggering me, please make it go away." In my opinion, you shouldn't get to force people to be silent about an issue that they are discussing in a civil and respectable manner just because it makes you feel bad. That's called a hugbox, and hugboxes are the worst kind of willful blindness.

By the way, here's some more coverage by real live respectable journalists: http://www.nichegamer.net/2014/09/might ... ensorship/

Agreed. That's is relevant to this thread.

(offtopic: About that "quinnspiracy" thing, I don't trust either side)

The funny part is that the entire thread was either people calling Cutstuff a cancerous forum or stating their lack of care.

Sorry for the double post but might as well bump this up.

Other than just being Bass and Zero in one I guess, isn't it kinda early to be announcing/teasing DLC?

Yep, way too early. I mean... Announcing "potential DLCs"?!
But I'd be more worried about certain similarities.............

Im scared about the gameplay, it looks too...repetitive? More than a mm classic game, it seems...

http://youtu.be/flU6Q9VVOJU

Well, it's just a beta, so it can become better.
How say in english, it's too "linear" ?.... Too much.... Some plat form part are cool, but when you start to run in a corridors, it's the same thing, i hope, not all the stages are like that...

In one year (and some months), it can be hard to make  a so good game ?.......so it can explain why capcom didnt release a new megaman game yet, since you have street fighter, Monster hunter and others in the work before..... ^^;

The style is not bad at all, but not exceptionnal, the musics too....but why not, i will play it...... Better than nothing  :p
I like the combo style again, but i hope They will find more way to make it attractive for people... :)

I think the repetitive part stems from the fact most stages shown so far pretty much looks the same aesthetically. And that we can't use different weapons between stages yet.

That music though, yuck!

Maybe 1 year is no enough to make this kind of game? Maybe they do it too quickly? Idk....
Can explain why a capcom guy said "We want to be sure to make a good game and not a little thing", in capcom unity forum, he said something like that....so yeah, if they start a game, they could need a lot of time, specially if there is some 3D things....

And yeah, the music is...boring...i hope they will rework it...
Anyways, i like the dashing style combo, pretty fun. (:

The latest update has some cool new screens of the game, but it also has a tidbit I thought some artists/designers here would find interesting:

Quote
I want to hold another robot design contest so bad!! Backer or not, send us a message if you’d like to participate! If enough people ask for it I’d love to do it again.

I always cursed myself for missing out on the Robot Master design contests of the old days, so having a new chance to submit Robot Designs to be reviewed and redrawn by Keiji Inafune and KIMOKIMO is pretty cool. If anyone is interested, they should tweet at Mighty No. 9's twitter account or email them at mightyno9(at)comcept.jp and say you're interested.

Release date announced: September 15th!

http://www.mightyno9.com/en/20150429

It's a delay from the original date (which was supposed to be this month), but I'm happy to hear they're getting in extra development time to make the game better.
