Different heights and different poses. In the back ones, his arms are pointing towards his waist, kind of like some superhero pose. In the front ones, he's pointing his arms forwards.

I was not aware it was a problem with the vanilla skin, but it's one that could pretty easily be fixed in yours.

Just to throw out there: Just because you find an inconsistency with a core skin, doesn't mean it's okay not to fix it. Pointing out the inconsistencies will lead to them to being fixed for v4a. So you skinners here have been a great help!  :)

So is there anything else I need to fix up on my Rock Belmont skin before I work on the final skin? Please let me know so I don't accidentally do it anyway, only to realize I needed to fix something and it gets rejected... Sorry if I worry to much and whatnot, it just feels like I get ignored if my post was made just before a new page gets added due to to many posts.

I guess you'd need to post the sheet with the new walking frames first since that was what you said you'd do with it, right?

I thought I said I was already done with the walk cycle? I said I wasn't going to make it TOO accurate because the walk cycle already is pretty damn similar, and it just won't work too well within the style.

Oh wait, I guess the last time you posted the sheet was your current progress. In that case, the front and back frames simulating Simon's walk look like they're standing sprites because both feet are in the same place. Try making it look like it has one foot forward and one back. Though I don't make skins, that detail definitely stuck out.

Again, Simon's walk cycle wasn't really meant to work with Mega Man's style. So I can't properly replicate it.

Think of Zero's "idle" stance in Mega Man Zero. Maybe it could help.

How is an idle going to help me walk?

Mega Man's walk cycle and Simon's are pretty similar, but the Idle stance isn't. This is where Zero's Idle Stance could help

But, honestly? I'm fine if you just keep the walking and idle frames normal.

Quite a while ago, I submitted my map in (and literally just before my laptop started giving up the ghost). Has it been accepted yet?

Yea but I had no intention in changing the idle at all, possibly, but probably not. Besides Mega Man Zero is, once again, a DIFFERENT style... that can somehow work for Mega Man's style... but I think what I have here will be fine, correct? If the idle should be changed, I will change it.

I also reverted the Walk3 back to the original because the one I originally had looked a lot more stupid and just doesn't work. I mean hell, like I said a few times, the walk cycles are already pretty damn similar. So the only real things I would've needed to change were the idle and hurt sprites, which I already changed the hurt sprites to begin with.
