It has come to my attention that some of you are upset with my class (Mech Unit ?) winning the third place medal.
As an aside, I also noticed the top three characters shared the same, as TotalBiscuit would put it, no offence, "Anime Bullshit Senpai" design. Slight Bias?
Honestly I'm displeased with ANY of the classes winning a medal.
Unsportsmanlike as it seems (assuming Smash handed himself his own second place vote, the highest he could, he handed himself the medal too in effect due to overwhelming vote grabbing by the top two winners), Smash's decision honestly doesn't make a big impact at the end of the day
I think it would be a good idea in the second competition if it was community based and classes were judged by community members instead of judges (Like the mapping competitions). Another suggestion is to make judges not able to enter the competition, although, I think it is better if it is community based.
I liked a lot of the classes and I am happy that I was able to share my class with everyone. Without this competition I wouldn't have made the Weavile class, credit to Clayton for making the swords dance and agility icons and sprites. Also, credit to Stardust and Fyone for testing my class.I also wanted to say that you can get shinies with my class if you are lucky (Weavile).
An additional note for people still complaining about "But it's not an ice class":Be glad I didn't submit my idea to the competitionIt was half ice, half fire. And it was also pretty spectacularly generic to boot.
Then afterwards I learn that two of the winners had their classes coded by King Yamato... Two of them.
Can someone else make my class for me?Sure, if they want to. If they don't, don't pester them, gosh.
