Where did you get your name?

Ah, so my new name needs specification. Here's what you need to know.

A few days after I submitted Jango to Under Siege, which I first started by sending a PM to Coldfusion, I tried to create an heavy armored engineer type character with a pump-action shotgun, a rocket launcher that can be used for both rocket jumping and offense, turrets, and AOW-style land mines.

I had trouble with the name, but I came up with a good name: Ceridran. I eventually took the submission back, after what I assume was getting no response on it. Coldfusion did read it, though. It wasn't exactly information released to the public, either.

So by the time this name changing event rolled around, I felt no need to change at first. But a little earlier today, I started to think about how rediculous it is that my name is just Zero with two k's tacked on, also as the name of a company which was not of my knowledge at the time when it stuck.

Due to it's generic nature, it got taken alot. I had to constantly use the filler name Zerokken for certain things. I felt like I was stuck between a rock and many more larger rocks, not that the initial rock was easily scalable. The reason I felt this is because it's stuck so long and I've used it in many places where I can't exactly change it. I eventually gave in and submitted that as my new name.  

And now here it is, I feel glad I made the decision.

I don't really like it when people change their name. It's all right, and I'm not trying to get anyone to change their names back, but I don't really like it all that much.

It's mainly about posts BEFORE the name change which use the old name.

Also, I tend to forget who the name changed person is sometimes...

Of course, I'll eventually get used to it.

I used to go with the name of Flashman in this game, then I decided to change it by renaming myself TheFlashedCrasher, after 2 of my favorite Robot Masters. I misspelled it, and used the "Crasger" part of my name, it sounded pretty nice.
I added the "Dr." when playing Rage Roboenza but never usually removed it after that.

I got mine from (Mostly) Spectating. Whether it would be a 1 life game or a survival match, I would watch how the battles went on.
And mostly it has to do with me watching videos.

I first started playing 8BDM under the name 'Monkey 86' after this ridiculous story. Then "Toad Day" happened, I changed my name to Toad86, and then every time I used a different skin/class on attempts at Robot Master Days. Eventually the 'Monkey' bit seemed irrelevant so I ditched it, just keeping the '86'. And obviously, 86 is a number.

Huh, looks like I missed the NAME CHANGE party. Oh well, I'll stick to Accel for a while longer.

My name actually has a funny story behind it. I had a falling out with this friend, a loooooooong time ago... and well, I found out that he was going to be playing with us, since we were a small group that were playing the demo way before the game came out. I didn't want him to recognize me, so I quickly tried to think of a new name, and I was just like "Well, I'm pretty fast, and one of my favorite characters is Accelerator..."

I've just stuck with it for 8BDM since then.

It's possible. On one hand, I'm actually kind of attached to the name in this community, but on the other, I might have changed it to something I'm more familiar with, such as Empty Overture (my usual handle), Aetria Overclocked (my most used ingame name), or Scarlet Haze (a recent name I've been using both on other sites, and ingame.)
