am a little surprised Megaman hasn't bloomed either, but that's mainly to either disinterest, lack of advertising, other mods, and so on.

Not to mention it isn't out until Friday  :p

I don't think it's so bad. I often see a GVH TLMS game going on. Usually it's not full but 8v8 is fine for GVH if you ask me. Sure the bigger battles are fun but AOW2 has taken the throne for huge wars it seems. I actually prefer smaller GVH matches so this is perfect for people like me  ;)

I see a funny parallel between Cutman making GvH -> MM8BDM and Capcom making Ghouls N Ghosts -> MegaMan.

Meh. Megaman didnt quite bloom because there wasnt anything in particular to get popular. I mean, how is a small demo with like 4 maps and only a few weapons bound to get people's attention for more then a few days? Ah well, the new (FULL) one probaly will get servers full within less then hours. :P

Hmm... Cant say why TDM is so bad for some, though maybe just because i actually like it. Gives more fun as seriously, a mistake on a Jitterskull KILLS, i dont like being killed in TLMS for stupid reasons, thus i prefer TDM. I guess it had an incredible factor of strategy though (and cheapness, AKA camping). I suppose some miss the more strategic times, though i dont quite recall GVH ever being anything more then a disorganized mess of people who like to kill eachother, aside the possible occasional teamwork (simple teamwork, you take left, i take right kind of stuff and "hey, lets all camp in that tiny room with one entrance and lock ourselves up there!"(noobcamping) ).

If anything for people like me a lack of a update to FIX things keeps me from playing much at all, TLMS isnt that bad, but when you're up against marines and their riotguns and grenades... Bah.
If making an map guaranteed an update i probaly would. At some point... I'm not one to deliver poorly made maps, atleast not in terms of time spent on them.

Maybe to make GVH a little more popular enhance the gameplay with a variation of new items and options? One of my efforts was to make an patch that makes dropped weapons visible and remaining, just a thing for a crazy thing i hosted from time to time with GVH.

Somewhat unrelated, i like, never ever noticed pure strategy among ghouls. All the good ones ever do is surround the foe or go to the area they go while an ally chases them, in the end sandwitching them to death. There's a load of abilities to do, though they never do anything fancy. Like, Creepers could be shot into a group of humans (if they dont notice a giant skull, often WHITE, in the distance preparing to launch a creeper).
Or things as simple as "hey, i'll frost breath them out of that room so you can intercept them at the other exit!" stuff, either!
Meh, would be interesting, but i guess people like to keep it simple and just kill stuff. Though i prefer victory over losing with most frags.
