Orginals and mmbn?
« on: May 09, 2014, 12:36:20 AM »
A free fact while were herr
(click to show/hide)

Why must capcom re-use their ideas i mean like
Airman.exe i would directly know how he attack
it would be better if it had another design
Like aquaman from mmbn 4
I mean he doesnt look like aquaman from orginals right?
If they had unique ideas like gateman.exe and laserman.exe and glide.exe etc
great job capcom   :(

To create the RPG story of Rockman EXE (megaman battle network), they needed to change the design and style of a lot of robotmasters. Aquaman looks an innocent children, Shademan EXE is the leader of the darkloids ect....

Even if it's not like the original serie (classic), i think the battle network is a success for the gameplay style and story...I miss it a lot.

Maybe they can make a mm classic rpg like MMX command mission...but the battle network serie is really SPECIAL.

in the 2006 year, for me, EXE was just a bad clone, but when i have seen some amvs and videos....i was like "it looks really original", it's really NOT a fail.

(and the games was well sold =] .....

Do you mean you don't like them reusing the designs, the fighting styles, or both?

Battle Network as a whole is a super cool thing to me. I know some people who even don't play Battle Network but like the idea of alternate universe versions of Robot Masters. Considering the Classic Mega Man series and its Robot Masters is my number 1 love, I do like it more when they have that kind of connection as opposed to Starforce, which went all original (they're still neat bosses and designs but a lot more forgettable to me and less exciting than anticipating -which Robot Master redesign is next??-).

I think there's a fair share of redesigns that are crazy-diff/cool (ShadowMan.EXE), same/cool (QuickMan.EXE), crazy-diff/bad(SnakeMan.EXE), and same/bad(AirMan.EXE). It would certainly be a fun art challenge to redraw some of the redesigns that people felt were weak.

IF you're talking about the battle style though... I personally have no problem with them copying or rather applying those things to the new battle system. AirMan.EXE's is the first boss in MMBN2 I think(?) and so it's not too challenging, but it works.
