Django is a vampire hunter his partner is otenko
(mmbn players should know django because his chips and he appeared in mmbn 4  and 6)

The series are kinda great how django turned into half vampire
(sorryz no storyz spoilerz)

Kinda stupid how the bat key  in mmbn6 gotten kinda useless

in the jap version of mmbn6 after you completed the main game
and defeated forte you could use the bat key to go to a secret area
and fight a vampire and later in the fight (fukken shadowboxin like shademan in mmbn4)
Django appears and etc...

Boktai is it's own game series...Megaman Battle Network 4-6 made reference to the series because I think both series were in development at the time.

I think his biggest appear was in mmbn 4 5 6
django got also its own series tho...

But there was a huge difference in eu version of mmbn with the jp

That's because Boktai was only localized in Japan for the most part...also that triple post/almost month bump.
