First appearance, first post!

I've been playing MM8BDM a loooooong time ago already, around the time of hosts like... I think his name was Mesatsu. At least 2 or 3 years for that matter, and got out of the mood to continue. But here I am again, and the mood is back!

Setting all the "Hey I am back yay" aside, depending on whether people want it or not, I may/may not host an EU Roboenza Server. I left this community in it's full bloom, when everyone was into YD's Classes and Roboenza Mode, and of course I am still really eager to play these modes again. But upon checking servers, I noticed that nobody is hosting Roboenza, and I am pretty sure it's not because Doomseeker dislikes me. I'm not sure how it died, but I'd look forward to playing it again and thus need you, the community to tell me if you are even willing to spend your time on the said Server, because I won't need to host it, if you won't play on it!

No need to really port forward and host from your computer these days! Everyone and their mom hosts with Best-Ever now, unless they have some sort of issue with the service. There should be a tutorial for hosting servers with that service somewhere. If you wanna host from your computer though then that's fine. That's less complicated for some.

Roboenza (perhaps sadly) is not the same as it once was. The mod has gone through many different revisions and versions over the years, and the original roboenza version is not compatible with the latest MM8BDM. The two modern versions of Roboenza that work are Roboenza Swarm and Roboenza Epidemic. Swarm is much different from the original, while Epidemic stays closer to the roots. However, Swarm is currently much more polished than Epidemic, which is still a little bit green. You should go check them both out.

Thanks for the help! And I think I remember you! I am not sure, if you would ever remember me, as I wasn't a popular user, but I was just a plain Touhou character. In fact, it was the first time I got introduced to Touhou, so I owe this community something!
I used to come by as Reimu... with light blue font. I was a really dumb and childish person, since I was like... Hmm... 13 or 14. Well, time has passed, and I kinda missed playing those good old wads and modes, so I came back to be less dumb and more... bareable? ~

I failed to port forward, despite doing everything correctly. Google didn't help either. But I host now over BestBot, the name easily recognizeable as my server: Flandre's Server. I will host Roboenza from now on, if anyone is interested!

Edit: The new Roboenza is really... really broken. Did I maybe download the wrong version? V1 is the latest, right? Because apparently, I can safezone in pits, because I have so much health + healthregen as survivor, that the pits can't kill me fast enough if I continuously jump.

As Roboenza is flat out broken at the moment, I will most likely host the Saxton Hale thingy for a bit. Seeing the hate/love relationship the community has with it, I guess it was popular enough to create a bunch of fans and a bunch of people who hate the fans for playing it so often.

I tried to play, but two problems: 1. My PC has a bizarre dread hatred of BE. 2. Wadseeker didn't find the saxton hale wads.

Will you continue to host "Saxton Hale ++", this mode is really fun (and funny), i would want see it hosted often....

The future files related to SHR++ will be renamed (without +s) so they don't cause nanymore downloading problems.
