This is going to be two months old soon. Mind just releasing the full thing already?

Furthermore, the actual medal isn't going to be issued until the full, intended release gets done.
But really, is this surprise really going to be worth waiting ages for a full release?

Happy to have participated. I learned a lot about map flow and some other neat little things, mostly revolving around ACS. I urge anyone who's been on the fence about learning to map to go download GZDoom Builder and play around with it.

Slight update, I accidentally uploaded the wrong "finished jam" to Best-Ever.
This one has an updated music readme and contains the missing JAMMUS07.
Thanks!

Well I have to say that I love this event. It was a lot of fun, I hope to see more events like this one that has a focus on producing a whole new map pack.
Good job everyone, I would say everyone put in a real effort and did a job well done

i have a bit of a problem, in LMS (and maybe more game modes too) whenever you get one frag the boss music kicks in. And in LMS when one player gets eliminated the victory music plays, if it isn't the last kill the music kicks in again. Kind of surprised this issue hasn't been addressed on here until now.

I know this is a bump, but would anyone be able to make a version of this Wad that doesn't use a "+" in the title? Currently there's a glitch going around that prevents Wadseeker from finding Wads and Pk3's that have certain symbols, such as plusses.

You know, there are maps in this pack that break with Zandronum 2.0.
Let's fix that.
Jam 1 v1b
Full changelog here:
(click to show/hide)
General
- All maps should now work with Zandronum 2.0.
- 4b boss music script applied to all maps.
- Changed pk3 naming conventions because Lego is an evil croc.
JAM01
- Made minor visual changes to the moving lava pit.
JAM05
- Fixed teleporter crash with Zandronum 2.0.
JAM06
- Pit room modified, should be much harder to accidentally die.
- Few weapon layout tweaks.
- Re-ripped and recompressed map's music.
JAM08
- Minor visual changes.
- Dust Crusher should no longer spawn under the ice. [If it does I'm going to shred these developers.]
JAM11
- Fixed teleporter to work with Zandronum 2.0.
JAM12
- Changed the water line slightly to better match the water's visual boundaries.
- Water is now slightly transparent, better matching core's.
- Added a spring sound to bring the spring pads in line with other maps.
JAM14
- Music turned down slightly
JAM15
- Various visual changes.
- Flame Sword removed.
- Old Flame Sword spawn replaced with Silver Tomahawk.
- Old Silver Tomahawk spawn replaced with Quick Boomerang.
- Swapped the health and ammo spawns on the pillars in the old Quick Boomerang room.
JAM16
- Fixed a few texture offset issues.
JAM17
- Fixed a weird fence that could block at all heights.
- Few texture offset changes.
- Music volume slightly adjusted.
JAM18
- Fixed Incorrect Texture Offsets.
- Removed some excess energy.
- Added a W-Tank on top of the cliff section behind the lavafall.

I'm here to report what are possibly textures causing the game to crash in JAM11. I checked every other map extensively after encountering this bug, but it seems to be on that map only. I find it odd since that never happened before. To be specific, it's on the Wily textures piece.
On another note, shouldn't this have its own thread in Projects now that it is a map pack?

It was an issue that existed in software mode.
Something related to 3D floors being rendered weirdly.
Anyhow, I fixed it and if updates happen for this pack, I'll throw the fixed map in. Unfortunately for the meanwhile people are gonna have to deal with it because I don't like rushing out whole new versions for simple, small-scale changes.
And if I have to change anything else about that map, it's getting converted to UDMF format.

Perhaps it may be worth looking into maps that weren't finished by the deadline, and try to get maps added in that meet the original theme. We've got all the time in the world it seems, and this event was both relatively popular and seems to be hosted frequently so I don't necessarily see a reason why not.
Alternatively maybe down the line we could do a re-roll? Give each person (who wants to participate anyway) another partner to work with? Something like that.
