Even if it's just the third party exclusives that you're looking for, the Wii U is still one of my favorite consoles either way. Already the Wii U has had sales booming with that one game Geno was hyping over.

And this hasn't taken into account to when the HD Smash Bros. comes out.

With that aside, I still recommend the Wii U to anyone. It might not sell well just because it was marketed poorly, but that doesn't mean it should stop you from getting one.

But yeah, your main post could at least be less of a...how do I put this...disaster?

The Wii U is a good console and it's got some really great titles on the way. It may have started slow but you can really get your money's worth.

I say it's worth just for Pikmin 3 alone, but stuff like Mario Kart 8 and Wonderful 101 will keep you company while stuff like Hyrule Warriors, Yoshi's Wooly World, and Smash Bros for Wii U are developing.

EDIT: Totally forgot about Splatoon, which seems like it'll be one of Nintendo's greatest IPs in a long time.

Even if you're like me and NEVER use the Virtual Console 'cause you already got all the Nintendo consoles.

Also, the Wii U only games are pretty good, Super Mario 3D World is fun and one of the very few recent Super Mario games that I actually bothered to get 100% in. It's also fun for four because multiplayer IN 3D!

And, Mario Kart 8 is great, even though I dislike the treatment that the previous games in the series got, and there are a few questionable design changes (no Battle Courses?! Can't drive backwards because Lakitu turns you around?! Pink Gold Peach?! FIVE BABIES?!?)

Also, Smash Bros looks like it's gonna be amazing. It'll probably get up there in my list of games that I will play forever.

Anyway, in my opinion the Wii U started out slow in comparison to PS4 and Xbox One, but after seeing all of the new games that are being developed, it's a good idea to get one.

I say it is worth it. Mario Kart 8 is the only Wii U title right now though that has any replay ability to me. Although, there really isn't any game out there I can play excessively except for Super Smash Bros. which is coming out for both 3DS and Wii U later this year. Hell, 3DS version finally has a release date of October 3rd. I say it's worth it just for Smash Bros.
