Pretty much this - for me it's not so much the fact that it's an FPS game, but it's subject matter.  I hate super realistic grimdark shootan gaems, like Call of Duty, Left 4 Dead, Halo, and GENERIC SPACE MARINE SHOOTAR FIVE or WARSIM WITH NO INNOVATIONS TO GAMEPLAY WHATSOEVER.  Stuff like Portal and Half-Life, and to a much much lesser extent, TF2, I'm totally okay with.

You're comparing a game thats in development hell for 12 years to a game that just started production?  Nice analogy.

OR that the reason as to why I said it's LIKE our "Duke Nukem Forever" is mainly due to a lot of us waiting to see if it was even going to happen.

When people heard that "Duke Nukem Forever" is STILL going on and going to be released sometime soon, people are freaked.
Now that us Legends nuts heard that Legends 3 is being worked on as of this point ((full progress being put towards it after Universe is completed)), we had the same reaction as the Duke nuts.

Therefore the point is, we're finally getting our beloved games that we waited for a decade or over.

It's still not a very good analogy - it's almost insulting to Legends and its staff, actually.

I prefer to call him by his new name, Volnutt.  BESIDESTHEPOINT.

Inafune hinted that would PROBABLY be told in cutscenes, possibly flashbacks.

What I love about the irony on how Legends is underrated, is, Inafune stated it's his FAVORITE Mega Man series.

Yeah, I was playing through that part a few weeks ago. Probably cringed more playing that part than when I first played Megaman X4 and watched the game's cutscenes.
