Mega Man, easy, moderate, or difficult?

in my opinion, it is moderate. Depending on the stage and or the boss, it can be difficult. But otherwise, the game is just right.

I think it's moderate. There are games from the same videogame genre that are harder than MM games, but it still doesn't stop being a challenge for people who has never played a MM game, not to mention that there are platform games that are way easier of course

Assuming you're referring to the classic series, it really varies from game to game. For example, the first Mega Man game is considered to be pretty challenging (although most of that is due to awkward early design decisions rather than regular difficulty). However, Mega Man 4, 5, 6 and to some extent 7 and 8, tend to be much tamer in their difficulty while still providing a fun challenge. Mega Man 10 is an interesting case because it has three difficulty levels that greatly vary the enemy and level design; it can range from very easy to very hard.

On average I'd say that the games range from moderate to difficult, with only a few cases being very easy. If you play the games a lot, though, and are familiar with their usual tropes and gigs, most of the entries will probably be reasonably tame for you. I guess that goes without saying for any game, though.

It all depends on the game, really; but compared to some games these days that feel borderline impossible, I guess MM is around the moderate to difficult range.

Yeah, really depends on the game. I'd say most games are easy, a couple like 1, 7, and 9 push into moderate, and then MM&B is balls-crushingly brutal. So I'd balance it out to moderate.

same thing than the others guys, MM5,6 are easy but MM3,7 can be harder, it really depend of the game'.
But i have seen a lot of videogames who are plat form style who are really harder than megaman.....even if it's mm1 or 4 or 7.
Without Etank, mm3 can be a real pain too. :x

It's one of those things that require practice, I guess. The more you play it the better you get at it. I definitely wouldn't say it's easy, though.

Eh... They're medium. Really, every game takes practice for it to be easy, as it is never easy the first time around.

I've had a pretty hard time with Mega Man 9 though, but nobody else has so... I just assume I suck ass.

It *highly* depends on multiple things:
- How you define difficulty
- The game you're playing
- How much you let your overall opinion get affected by difficulty spikes

I'd say that the classic Megaman series is - from what I have seen - a little challenging but not too hard for the most part.
However, pretty much every game has those parts that are a lot harder than the rest, some games moreso than others. Hard as in frustratingly and not really fun to play hard.

There's a reason I'm not a huge fan of the MM games. I just have rather unhappy memories with the games from my childhood. (Quick Man's stage is just hell.)

Eh, never had a huge issue with it. It's really just matter of memorizing the beams, then the only threat is Quick Man himself.

Moderate... 1 and 2 had a lot of hard parts... so does 3... 4 makes the series a bit easier... 5 and 6 are fun but a bit short-experimented... 7 is good... I never played 8, 9, 10 and MM&B... Wily Wars is 1, 2 and 3 in one game.
