Is this suposed to happen? Online problem.

I just tried to make a server after trying to joine others severs failed. so i got my number and i whent to join the sever i hosted but it just keepps posting connecting to (my number) port 10666 and dosent stop. do i just wait is the port not open ( really not sure what port 10666 is). can someone help?

What IP are you trying to join? It sounds like it's trying to connect to localhost, which is your ip.
