I didn't expect our match to be such a popular event; glad we could put on a show. For us to taste despair in the final moment of triumph is a supreme treat we can know now.

United Nations Allied Teamwork Coalition vs Los 3 B
Map 1: VRP05 (UNATCO's pick)
Los 3 B won 2-0
Map 2: MM6KNI (Los 3 B's pick)
UNATCO won 2-1
Map 3: MM2MET (Mutual pick)
UNATCO won 2-0
The match began with Los 3 B winning 3 games in a row. Then, a long-ass Mega Buster duel between Care Boby and myself on MM6KNI marked the halfway point of the match, which I won with 2 hits to spare. After the halfway point, UNATCO managed to come back and win the last 3 games to bring it home. Good games, Blaz and co., and good work Wengar and Ken! Now all of us must wait and see how MarkSman Hunters vs Knights Templar and [victor of that match] vs Team BasedSnackage go before we plan our next move.

Alright, it's past 2 weeks now, so time for an update.
I am giving both remaining first round matches - Knights Templar vs. MaskSman Hunters and Sapphire Fist vs. Dan, Dan and L.S - until Sunday at 12:00 AM EST (UTC-05:00) to complete or (or begin with intent of finishing in the same session) their matches.
If this deadline is not meant, I will bump one team from each matchup into the lower bracket,
based upon activity.
Knights Templar vs. MarkSman Hunters: I'm giving you this time because because both teams have been trying to schedule a time.
Sapphire Fist vs. Dan, Dan and L.S: I'm giving you this time because subsequent matches are being held up by Llama's absence until December anyway. For those wondering, the forfeit that Dan posted was just a matter of me not communicating well over the past day, for which I apologize.
This does not mean the 2 week rule has been uniformly extended.
As I mentioned in the rules I am free to change this limit so long as I notify via this thread.
I apologize to Team BasedSnackage on behalf of Knights Templar and MarkSman Hunters - you'll get to play soon!
Thank you all for your patience. We all knew going into it that this tournament would be a little slower. But it's certainly worth it - look at all of the hype matches we've had already!

Unfortunately, Knights Templar vs. MarkSman Hunters have still been unable to complete their match. Considering I allowed an extra day on top of the extra week added onto the original time limit, I'm afraid as a responsible organizer it's about time I take action so the rest of the bracket can commence.
Based upon the effort I observed put in by both teams to get the match done, including making time, communicating, etc., I have decided
to advance MarkSman Hunters to the next round,
when means that
Knights Templar have dropped to the lower bracket.
Blackerman was very helpful in organizing his team, and there was hardly a time when he was not on top of his team mates' availability. I hope Knights Templar have better luck scheduling and doing their match with SUPER DUPER HIGH SCHOOL ULTIMATE DESPAIR.
That being said, with winter break approaching quickly for a lot of contestants, hopefully that means matches will continue to get done! We've already seen a lot of hype matches and 2-1 sets so far, so I'm excited to see what's in store! Keep up the good work everyone! Just as an extra extra reminder, here are the matches currently needing to happen (just going down the bracket).
Team BasedSnackage vs. MarkSman Hunters
Team Blossom vs. The GG'S
Team 911 vs. THE STRUGGLE IS OVER
SUPER DUPER HIGH SCHOOL ULTIMATE DESPAIR vs. Knights Templar
The Wuonejos vs. Sapphire Fist
Dammmm Bulshit vs. Dan, Dan and L.S
Let's keep up the hype everybody!

If I may speak for the team that I used to be on, having not even seen GM for the last 3 days, let alone Kraven, I think it's safe to say that the team may or may not have to drop due to life getting in the way.I'll try to help set up the matches if it means anything.

911 was dialed many times in our match against THE STRUGGLE IS OVER.
Round 1: MM8DW2 - 911's pick
911 2-1 THE STRUGGLE IS OVER
Round 2: MM1OIL - THE STRUGGLE IS OVER's pick
THE STRUGGLE IS OVER 2-0 911
Round 3: MMBKIN - Mutual pick
911 2-0 THE STRUGGLE IS OVER
Great games, you guys! I was on edge the entire time. Best of luck down in your bracket, perhaps we shall meet in this tournament again.

The war is over, bodies strewn throughout the battlefields. As for which team left more, I'm going to make you read for it because Bik is demanding I embellish this post.
MAP 1: MM7SHA (Team XXXChaotiXXX's mostly random pick)
(click to show/hide)
There were a few unexpected pop ins and crossed paths, most ending in a painful, fiery death, but eventually team XXXChaotiXXX stalked their way to a 2-0 victory. Frag Differential: 3
MAP 2: MM1DW1 (Team 911's pick)
(click to show/hide)
Regardless of how ham Team XXXChaotiXXX tried to go (partially spurred on by their lack of ammo and subsequent, surprisingly effective, tactic of bashing the enemy's heads in with rocks), Team 911's superior tactics allowed them to extend the game, winning 2-1. Frag Differential: 3
MAP 3: MM7DW1 (The mutual pick we all hoped would come quickly, but obviously didn't)
(click to show/hide)
And so things got intense. The first round was quite loose and free flowing, despite some attempts at ambush, but ultimately Team XXXChaotiXXX placed one too many well aimed shots and claimed the first round.
Everyone shuddered as they reviewed their weaponry for the second round- Fire Storm, Metal blade, Ring Boomerang, Napalm Bomb... Sakugarne. Team XXXChaotiXXX was quick to fall from Team 911's stalwart defenses, but the hyperaggressive weaponry gave Team XXXChaotiXXX the edge they needed to bring the round to two survivors each (although a crow helped). As Muzaru fell, the prophecy that Bikdark would choke away the victory seemed to be coming true. But with one of many frenzied buster shots, Bikdark finished off Michael, leaving only him and King Dumb. Fire Storms traded for Mega Buster shots and Bikdark was clinging to life with 20 health, and whilst King Dumb was not much more comfortable with his 30, his vast supplies of ammunition kept Bikdark desperate under heavy fire.
Suddenly, a breakthrough occurred. Bikdark was unable to keep his distance and a Ring Boomerang flew directly towards his face.
Closer.
Closer.
The crowd fell silent, and then erupted in a frenzied clamor.
The Ring grazed just short of him, obscuring his entire field of view.
The high-stakes game of cat and mouse ensued, with a precious scarce frenzy of metal and flame holding both combatants at bay.
But alas, despite prayers to Snoop Dogg, Charles Barkley, Shrek, and anyone else the downed soldiers could imagine,
Bikdark ultimately was taken down when flanked by a Ring Boomerang. Team XXXChaotiXXX mourned the loss of what could have been the most Snoopinist hero to ever exist (though everyone else was cheering enormously).
The final round was upon them. What happened on that day wasn't clear- Team 911's phalanx was unbreakable, entrapping and executing the loosely-formed XXXChaotiXXX members. Muzaru felt he was failing his defense of the front lines, Bikdark's ambushes were sparse and missed the mark, and OJ's charges crashed and burned far before doing anything effectual, and yet they found at the end that only King Dumb stood against them. The war was drawing to and end, and it was up to King Dumb to save his country.
And then Bikdark punched him in the face, killing him.
We owe this victory to based Snoop Dogg. Praise be unto him.
XXXChaotiXXX had won the match 2-1, with a frag differential of 5.
FINAL FRAG COUNTS PER PLAYER:
(click to show/hide)
King Dumb: 18
Michael: 14
Korby: 20
OJ: 22
Muzaru: 16
Bikdark: 18
