I plan on getting a new PC soon, and it has a RAM of 2 GB. I'm mostly getting it to play MM8BDM.
So does anyone know how much RAM space MM8BDM takes up?

2 GB seems more than enough to me. I think even 512 MB are enough.
If you can't run it, try taking things out of your skins folder.

I think it also depends on the Graphics Card. Someone gotta get it up and running to see how much RAM it takes after playing for, say, One Hour. I think it's about 1GB or 1.2GB (Because Zandronum)

2GB of RAM is suitable for Zandronum,i'm telling you i had to upgrade my ram to 2GB because i had like only 1GB and the engine kept freezing,2GB of RAM or more is your best choice ..

And if it's powerful enough, you can use open gl or sprites mode thing who make the sprites rounded/smooth (but not really usefull).
My laptops are 1 or 2 go ram, i use software ^^
The 2 laptops of 4go ram (and a correct graphic card) can use Open GL ^^
But basically yeah, if you want to be sure to not have some problems, ask for 2go or more....
