I think it's mainly those two big health pickups.  I was able to turtle the guy because of those.

The final boss is also really hard for anyone who hasn't played Megaman 3!

Why i am so damn good at this game. I completed the whole single player campaing and i was every time first. I failed only for bosses. Without bosses this game would be too easy.

Finally beat it yesterday, got stuck for SO LONG on the mm5 batch of bosses at the end, mostly because holy shit Gravity Man bot.  Gamma wasn't really all that hard after the marathon, the Metool Daddy was much more frustrating with it's invisible gigantic hitbox for the crushign leap.

I'm still stunned that the balconies on Mr. X allow overlapping floors.  I thought that was completely impossible on doom!

It's kind of cheating cause it's just a bunch of textures made solid. You can actually have true 3d floors in Skulltag BUT it requires you to have the openGL renderer. As I want MM8BDM to be software compatible, you won't find a single 3d floor in the game.

Game wasn't to hard in general, only thing that was sort of hard was the big fight at the end, but of course that was mostly due to me not knowing you could switch your weapon until I tried when I was getting thrashed by some of the harder ones.  :?  It was very enjoyable.

Most people ask that same question. Though I often get errors with the game about... "Access violations."

But yeah crashing when you're near the end drives people nuts.
