It is visible. If you're getting blur when you look at it, go into viewing mode (W) and if it has red ! textures, cursor over it, right click, and select textures for it.
there is no texture at all. I can make a square but i can't make a wall inside of the square
. I discovered that I had to increase the height of the floor. thankyou

If you want to learn something you've seen in a map. Just open the map up in an editor and look at how it's done.

If you want to make a Door like in MMCTF07. Then look at it in an editor. That's how I learnt... 80% of the things I do while mapping.

That's how I do it too.  Everything in CTF05's code was pretty much ripped right out of Metal, Dust, Gravity, and Bright Man's code.

Yes, so I have been looking at official maps, but music files come up as "Unknown" in SlumpED. Does it have to be a certain file type, or can I use any old file?

I believe Skulltag accepts almost any music format, but .ogg is preferred nowadays.

The Ogg Vorbis is a very compact format that keeps good quality. It's ideal to use in mapping. Things like Audacity export songs into .ogg format.

One question - I was editing Pharoahman's map for the V2 project (different layout, don't worry.) and whenever I test it bots spawn. How do I stop this? I removed all he deathmatch starts and replaced them with player starts so don't worry.

Yeah, the floor never shows up and I'm not sure how I can get the tiles into the map (I'm new to Doom Maps BTW)

MM8BDM uses a campaign which adds bots automatically depending on the map name (MM4PHA in this case). You can either change the name to something else, or do offline skirmish with no bots added.
