GlovePie
« on: October 15, 2010, 06:34:52 AM »
So I've been messing around with GlovePie, trying to make a wiimote scripit for MM8bDM, but i can't get the IR aiming right. Can anybody familiar with GPie help  me out?

I've played around with the gpie tutorials on youtube(108a and 108b), but to no avail.

If I get this working I'll post the script asap.

Lol Glovepie. The only thing I use it for is Guitar Hero and Sometimes using it as a mouse. What exactly do you want anyway?

I think he wants to aim with the Wiimote, by having it as a mouse.

What I use is 2 small lit candles and move them around until it's aligned with my monitor.

i already use my wireless sensor bar and wiimote for my mouse, and it works great, i love it. but when I tried to do the same thing for MM8bDM it doesn't read my wiimote as a mouse.

I want to use it as my main interface when i play .

maybe to you, and that's fine...but my couch is 4 feet away from my computer desk, and I'd rather sit on it than be confined to my shitty computer chair.

Then you should be spending time trying to get a job instead of playing Doom 2 mods...

As much as I enjoy a nerdy discourse, could we please get back to the topic at hand? This thread was intended to discuss the programming of glovepie not the reasons why I wish to do so. and Doom, I agree, I'd like to avoid a "bitchfest"(as the kids say nowadays) as much as possible.
