Zandronum 2.0 compatibility is the primary goal of v4c. Any other changes would ultimately be bug fixes and smaller map updates.
It does not warrant its own thread until it is released, in my opinion.

Quote from: "andreasaspenberg"
i have been testing the alpha of 2.0 and i found no problems. i have only tested a few maps though so further testing might be useful. at least the network problem in version 1.3 is fixed.(failure to connect for no apparant reason.) as for the deletion issue mentioned it could be windows 8 related as it have insane security. update: i have now tested every level and here is the issues i found: mm1bom bombman, mm1dw1 wily`s hideout. mm7fre freeze man and  mm8dw1 skull tower base have graphical glitches where the background fails to render properly. pharao man`s stage seems to have an issue where the sand does not slow the player much. one good thing is that if i choose a level that is incompatible with game mode it chose a compatible mode instead of displaying an error. i apologise for the number of edits but i had to do it as my memory is bad so i would just forget what levels i found issues on.

This is a paragraph, not a list.
Nonetheless I have gone through it and looked at the maps you listed.

- At least now I know you use Open GL...the maps MM1BOM, MM1DW1, MM7FRE, and MM8DW1 have a hall of mirrors sky because of the way Open GL renders skys in 2.0. This has been a known issue for a while.
- MM4PHA's sand acts the same between 1.3 and 2.0.

I discussed the sky issue with Zandronum moderator WaTaKiD a while ago. He found the maps mm1dw1, mm7fre, mm2woo, mm1bom, and mm8dw1 had hall of mirror skies in Open GL but not in Software. This lines up with the issue you listed.

Back then, I did a short investigation to find which sky textures work and which ones do not:
Quote
<LegoCS>Ok so apparently if the resolution of the texture used for sky1 in MAPINFO is below 20x20, it causes a hall of mirror in Open GL
<LegoCS>I haven't tried it in software, but I would simply recommend using textures with a power of 2 in resolution and it must be a square
After which, WaTaKiD made a thread asking if this was a bug or not, but got no reply from what I can tell.

If you want to see the important issues we know of, you can see the list here.
The teleporter crashing issue has been pretty much resolved completely in core.

That should be pretty much it. Next time you post a list of things, be sure to format it in some fashion so that it's easier to read and looks less like gibberish. Even if the content is gibberish, formatting it more like a list would make it easier to read.

There's no limit in the engine.  I can play at 1440p if I desire.  It might be something on your system?

You have your aspect ratio set to 16:9 in the SET VIDEO MODE area right?
