There's no need to insult each other about this. This is a common problem with online PC shooters, and it mostly depends on if the user base increases or not. I hope you can find a suitable server sometime soon, CarThief, and I'm sorry if you can not.

Ah, its those "Deal with it" people that deserve to be shot on sight, if not worse. Anyway, seems out sometimes hosting works, but... we TRULY need an dedicated server for the Europeans and whoever else has lag from the US servers.

Meh, hope Cutman arranges one, or they simply decide to make one, preferabaly with teams, being all alone against tops 31 other people is a tad... difficult. Not well suited for average DeathMatching, if one wishes to win or atleast frag a person before getting splattered by 3 people shooting at your back.

What the Hell is wrong with you?  He said he was sorry you couldn't find a suitable server!

CarThief speaks so cold... But he's still right. I absolutely hate playing with a ping higher than 80.

We really do need a good Euro server. I wish Supergod gets his life back on track... so he can host the best servers ever again.

But a Grandvoid server would be nice. Or as CarTheif said, Obsidian-UK servers.

I mean, I know how he feels about laggy servers.  I'm in the US but have to deal with my college's horrible internet.  I usually have ping of 135 at the least!  I just don't get why he's so upset at PressStart when he didn't do anything!

Thanks, Mr.X  : )

I'm really sorry I can not help more with the situation, CarThief. I have very little knowledge on running servers myself, and am in no position to get a European one started. CutMan's having to take donations just to keep the site running, so I don't think it would be fair to look to him for an immediate solution either. I just posted in hope that people would stop insulting each other.

Here's also hoping someone will come along and start a suitable server for Europeans as well.

Hmm... Perhaps Cutman can arrange an Obsidian server for Megaman?

I asked but they're too full. Ironically they wouldn't take down even one of the two GVH servers they have up!

Ah, if it was misunderstood then my deepest apologies. Its quite a... stressfull thing when people seem to do that. Too bad my misunderstandings often involve admins, on their own ground, bah, bad memories... Oh well, i daresay the ST community overall is better then those people in the old days.

Hmm... They had a demo server? Why not take that down? Demo's typically suck compared to the full version, readily downloadable on Cutstuff, and doesnt take too long either, i think.

Edit: If there's big demand, i can host a server not laggy at all for say, 8 to 9 people (at 10 it starts to lag far more frequent). Though it might have a few lag spikes from time to time, and probaly doesnt Cooperate whenever i play WoW, it should be bearable and decent. Also nice for those liking small matches instead of 32 man deathmatches, i wanna win, not get mauled by 8 people shooting all at me! :P
