thanks guys! here's another one, i did this for one of the MM8BDM trailers

http://8bc.org/music/Handheld+Heroes/Wi ... Man+10%29/

korby: there's actually a decent amount of bass on that track, but i eq'd it so low you need really top notch speakers (which i dont have haha) to hear it.

pressstart: you can do that on a game boy, i added some EQing, but other than that it's 100% GB. although i don't think you could use that for game music, cause it takes the full strength of the processor to run some of the sounds you can get out of Little Sound DJ. I've had tracks that couldn't run on the original DMG without stopping everything else (basically the buttons froze up, song kept playing). the gameboy color has a faster CPU, but the soundchip loses a lot of bass and ability to play wav samples correctly [/end nerdy music rant]

here's a medley of mm2 tunes i wrote on a gameboy a ways back. everyone complained about the lack of bass, because they don't respect megaman like i do.

http://8bc.org/music/Handheld+Heroes/Saskrotch+-+Mega+Man+2+Medley/ direct mp3 link wont work, so either stream it on that page, or click on that 'download' button

I remember that. Also, the gig poster looks like Enso's work.

I liked it B-)

Here's some art I did a while ago, MS Paint 4 life

It was one of the cover art winners for the duane and brando album thing

I have played with you many times actually, I was the one who said that I know you from 8bc.

I used to be active on 8bc and Chipmusic, mainly doing album artwork for people

It'd be cool if we could put our own music in this game somehow, client-side only, most likely, but maybe server-side too.  If so I'd put this in:

http://8bc.org/music/RushJet1/Commando+ ... Heos+Mode/

if a Commando Man level were ever to be made :D

I'd just like to say your music kicks some serious butt, RushJet1, especially that V106 Wily Capsule remix.

1)LOVE IT! I would put this in, but i can't decide on a fitting level. Listened to a few of your other works, loved them all!
2) You can put music into the game to replace others, just use Slumped.

What ficarra1002 said.  You don't even necessarily have to copy an existing music file's name.  Here's what you do:
- Create a file in SLumpEd. (Instructions can be found elsewhere.)
- Import a WAV, MID, MUS, MP3, or OGG as a new lump.
- Make sure the lump has a maximum of eight letters to its name, either by renaming it, or by making the imported file have eight letters max. (Examples: "TNCSURF", "CCRRZONJ", "BESTMUS")
- Save the file as a WAD. (it might work as other formats, but WAD is suggested.)
- Load the WAD in to Mega Man 8-Bit Deathmatch. (Instructions can be found in Editing.)
- Open the console. (Tilde ~ key.)
- Type "changemus", then your music's name. (For example, "changemus moonwalk", or "changemus cntbtair".)

And there you have it.  I've done this myself.  For example, I generally "changemus tncsurf" on Waveman's level because I think it's funny watching the level be played with the theme from T&C Surf Designs playing.
