Hello and welcome to the CutStuff forums. And yes, this game is still practically played on a daily basis.

You should follow the instructions on this page to install Doomseeker which is a server seeker. Everyone in this community use it to find and join MM8BDM servers. right ?

Then after you've done everything, you should be able to join said servers. Keep in mind that there are times when noone at all is online. People tend to connect after 6:00 pm UTC. Enjoy your stay.

You'll also need to download this and extract it over your 8BDM installation since Zandronum updated and 8BDM's shipping version did not.

Yes, there's quite a number of players in MM8BDM daily, though IMO not exactly a lot.
The servers that are usually active most of the time are YD/CBM Team Last Man Standing, Saxton Hale, and (to a certain extent) Lobstacle Course.

I'm going to lock this topic now, seeing as it's becoming more of "do people want to play right now" instead of its original use.

If you want to play at this very moment, there's a rather populated YD Classes TLMS server up. Consider joining that.
