I have downloaded the megaman 4 complete works and megaman 5 complete works music packs and i cant activate them i added them but they dont work if you got a solution gimme a massage or something i will be thankful and p.s its one from giant megaexe's music packs on megaman 8 bit deathmatch i am using v4c right now

If they're pk3 or wad files, you place them in the skins folder. All adding a music pack does is give the game more files available for use in music. To change the music, open the console and type "changemus [song name]" where [song name] is the name of the file you wish to listen to, of the song files loaded.

For example, core Megaman 8-Bit Deathmatch has Drillman's theme under the file name drimus. Typing in "Changemus drimus" in the console changes the music to Drillman's theme from Megaman 4.

Note that most music packs do not replace the normal music so this method would be needed to listen to anything in any of them.

If you're playing with X mission mode, there's a commonly experienced bug where the game straight up crashes randomly. This could happen at load time or in the middle of a session, though it's more common at load time.

The resolution was to either rename or move your skins folder [and to move it back when you're finished]
The issue stems from the lack of a class called "megaman" and having skins in the game that are specifically set up to work with megaman breaks things.

What do you mean about that i am telling you iam loading the mission it does not start at all

I mean try renaming your skins folder to something that isn't skins
this will cause everything in the skins folder to not be automatically loaded when the game starts, preventing the crash.

I renamed the folder it didnt do anything still having the same error on starting with the mission mode file sorry

Which mission mode are you running?
Mission Mode proper [no X, no SIN] doesn't run with the current version of MM8BDM. Either XSP or SIN should work in theory.

I don't have much more information on that, sorry.

Did some searching and found a version of normal Mission Mode that works with v4c.

The MMX one has compatibility issues with this version of the game. As of now the only single player mod that works properly is this one.

This is the only version of Mission Mode I could find that runs using v4c.
